Farming Tips for Cumin Cultivation

AgriBee cumin seeds are best sown in October-November in the major cumin-growing regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan. Sow seeds at a depth of 2-3 cm with row spacing of 30 cm. Cumin requires light, well-drained sandy loam soils with neutral to slightly alkaline pH.

Apply the first irrigation immediately after sowing and subsequent irrigations at 20-25 day intervals. Weed control is critical during the first 40 days. Apply nitrogen in split doses for better seed yield and quality.
